The Talem Recruitment Group

The Talem Recruitment Group is the only multi-disciplined recruitment group in the South West. Its aim is to support businesses with a whole host of recruitment needs by utilising the specialist agencies that fall under its wings.

Next Generation Care are a South West recruitment agency that provides a specialist service for the care industry. Established in 2003, Next Generation Care is run by a team with more than 25 years’ combined experience working in the care and recruitment industry.

This complementary blend has enabled Next Generation Care to become a trusted partner for many local care providers within the region. The very nature of the industry means that the group has become accustomed to regulated guidelines and in particular an adherence to CQC standards.

Astra Recruitment are the first specialist agency to be launched by city entrepreneur Donna Barnes. Astra specialise in recruiting for logistics, IT and engineering sectors. Astra has doubled its turnover year on year and remains committed to providing a tailored service that can tap into the very nucleus of client and candidate needs.

With a growing team, Astra Recruitment competes at a national level and is now regarded as an attractive choice for industry’s focused in logistics, IT and engineering. They continue to be a valuable recruitment partner for market leaders and are responsible for sourcing candidates for junior, senior and director positions.

Next Generation Education are the newest agency to be launched within the Talem Recruitment Group, Next Generation Education specialise in recruiting for nurseries, schools and other educational settings including childcare and centres for children with SEND. 

 

Due to the sensitive nature of the job and the large responsibilities attached, Next Generation Education have a duty to abide by all the legislative guidelines involved in running children-focused service. Helping to inspire, influence and improve the lives of children through quality education can only happen if strict safety guidelines are met. 

Mitrem Recruitment are the sister company of Astra, Mitrem Recruitment are specialists in recruiting for commercial roles. The agency consists of a small team of expert consultants, who are designated to manage niche commercial areas including accountancy and HR, right through to customer services and administration.

Before becoming managed and run by Donna Barnes, Mitrem Recruitment only catered for the South West region, however since its take-over the agency has repositioned itself as nationwide recruiter. Mitrem now finds itself operating, and competing, at national level, and has enjoyed success working with many leading names seeking staff for commercial and office-based roles.

                Donna Barnes

Donna is a regional entrepreneur and owner of the Talem Recruitment Group - encompassing four different recruitment agencies under it's wings.

 

Donna provides the team with a strategic business mind and holds valuable experience in managing large scale recruitment projects. Donna is also a Director of the Devon Chamber of Commerce.

Brian Rossiter

Brian is responsible for dealing with compliance, in-house systems and ensuring that the business operates safely, securely and according to legislative requirements.

 

Brian has been involved in the recruitment industry for several years but was promoted to Quality Co-Ordinator after his meticulous attention to detail and understanding of industry demands.

Peter Guest

Peter is responsible for the overview of international recruitment legislation, ensuring that all in-country and overseas professionals adhere to the ever changing migration laws. 

A master business leader, Peter has two decades worth of successful deployment on the international stage. He is at the heart of delivering a truly dedicated and unique service for our clients.

Tom Bray 

Tom is responsible for the marketing activity of the business. With experience in both digital and print marketing, it's his job to keep the brand voice and vision intact, whilst also taking advantage of any opportunities that come the groups way.

 

Tom has enjoyed previous success in  similar roles, where his specialism in digital marketing has seen him increase web traffic through SEO and shareable content creation.

Alina Diaconu

Alina is responsible for all aspects of international recruitment liason. She is educated to degree level and is fluent in three different languages.

 

Alina manages the legislative adherence of overseas professionals including travel and integration management. She is the leading light in ensuring settlement in the UK creates a motivated, engaged and significant asset for our clients.

               Jane Bassett

Jane is responsible for leading the administrative team at Global Talent Bank. She has many years of experience of financial controller responsibilities for multiple businesses.

 

It's Jane's job to ensure monetry activities are inline with governmental guidelines and that all financial and legislative transactions are acted on appropriately and in a timely manner.
